This action creates a new list item in any list/library in the current site collection.

Create item

  1. Site – select a site from the current site collection. Use runtime value to specify site URL only known at runtime.
  2. List – select a list/library from the selected site. Use runtime value to specify list title only known at runtime.
  3. Values to set – set values for one or more column of the target list, using scalar values, column values of the current item, functions and simple arithmetic operations. Click on the column to show the value builder.

NOTE: To have items created in a specific folder, assign values to either Folder ID or Folder Path.

When creating associated items linked to Associated Items field, assign the Associated Items column name in the parent list to Parent Field Name pseudo-column without using quotes or brackets.

Use special pseudo-columns Approved and Check-in to approve/reject items and check documents in and out. Both column accept yes/no values. Note that these values cannot be set in synchronous actions running updating the current item. These pseudo-columns will exist on lists and libraries that have version control, check-in/out and approval settings turned on.
