NOTE: this functionality pertains to Office 365 version only.

In some cases you need to run a large number of updates on a list in a short time, such as pasting external data. If your list uses actions and alerts (or other event-based components), it will trigger a large number of calls, potentially causing the list to become throttled by our system and blocked for the rest of the day.

To prevent that from happening, you can activate Bulk Update Mode. It will prevent any actions or alerts from triggering while you are performing your updates.

To activate Bulk Update Mode:

  • Go into Ultimate Forms app
  • Select the list you want to activate the mode on
  • Click on Bulk Update on top menu
  • Choose the expiration time of the bulk update mode. It will ensure that if you forget to re-activate, it will do it for you once the mode expires.
  • Click Disable, to re-activate  your actions and alerts once you are done your updates.

Once you are done performing you updates, you can manually re-activate your list or let the mode expire on its own.

Note: When this feature is turned on you can still run your actions manually.
