You can optionally filter the data using the column value of the list item. This way only the matching items are retrieved from the database/web service.

You create conditions that compare data source column values to SharePoint column value of the current item. You can create as many conditions as you like.

  • Select the data source column you want to filter by.
  • Select the operator. Suitable operators are filtered automatically based on the column’s data type. NOTE: operators are not available for web services and REST.
  • Select a SharePoint column. Only the columns with data type matching the selected database column are shown.
  • Click Add to create a condition.
  • You can add, edit or delete conditions at any time.
  • Most built-in SharePoint column types, defined as filters for the LOB field, will automatically refresh the list of keys. A Refresh icon is shown next to the dropdown to allow you to refresh the list of values manually.
